Our Beacon of Strength

What is a normal day for you? Is it going to school or is going to a job? Is it taking care of kids or is it taking care of yourself? For me, it feels like I'm in an eternal loop. I wake up, eat, work all day and then go to sleep again. Its like that day after day. Quite frankly, its like that for just about everybody. But theres a time that I wish that there was a perfect day where everything went the way that I wanted it to go. No problems. Just a blissful day of perfect everything. This too is something that everybody wished that they could have. Wouldn't it be great if everything went the way you wanted it to be. But then, how would we be able to learn things for ourselves? If we didn't have the problems (I mean the day to day stupid little problems that we deal with) how are we to know how to deal with it? Most people in their lives will ask this question; " If there was a God who loved me so much, why would he give me a life of grief and pain?"
Why would a loving Heavenly Being ever give us pain and grief in this life and not give us an easy life from start to finish? The answer is so clear that sometimes we look right passed it. The hardships, pains, the broken hearts and everything that we deal with on a day to day basis is what gives us the experience to live. If we lived perfect lives, there would be no reason to live, because we wouldn't need to learn for ourselves. Oppisition is needed in life for all of us to experience happiness and sadness, pain and pleasure, excitment and boredom. Don't worry why we have problems in our lives. Thank Heavenly Father for the trials in your life. After all, the bad things in our lives also test us to see if we will still exercise faith in our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Remember that He loves you for who you are. No matter where you go, what you do or who you are, you are His child and He loves you the same as he does all of his children. Pray often to him and he will make you burdens lighter like He does to all who have faith in him. He is there to make us strong and to overcome our weaknesses. He is Our Beacon of Strength.
